Preschool & Places that please...

Well that's a load off.

We got Ava registered for preschool starting this September. It is still crazy to me that you have to register your child for preschool 9 months in advance, but it seems that is the way it works...everywhere.

She didn't want to leave, which I took as a good sign. As I was putting my jacket on before we headed out to the cold and snow, I looked up and she was looking over the rail into the classrom with a look of longing....

We decided to walk to her school and get some exercise and on our way home I wanted to explore the backsides of all the cool old buildings on Purchase Street. I love all (well most) things old, rusty, peeling, colorful and textured. And I love architecture. It makes me wonder what the history is, who has lived and worked there, and what the future holds for it.

I'm thinking of starting up some more photography business here. Am I crazy? Family, if you think I am, please say so. It's weird being here with no family, but it's also weird not having hundreds of photos to edit. Not that I want to go back to being overloaded and overwhelmed with how I want to manage my time, but I do have the urge/itch to start photographing others again. We'll see what happens...
